話說澳洲生活最大的好處，對阿牛來說，不外乎＂自然環境＂與＂人與人之間可以保持足夠的距離＂這兩個優點．．．．．其他的，生活這麼幾年，其他的優點似乎越來越找不太到了！
（雖然光這兩個優點就已經佔了人生完美度的８５％以上）
而能深刻體會＂非我族類、其心必異＂這句名言的阿牛，更不覺得下面的這個事件有甚麼特別就是！！
人性就是這樣，小到兄弟姊妹、父母與子女、家庭與家庭．．．．大到不同的社會與群落、甚至國家與國家之間，＂別人的小孩死不完，自己的小孩最完美＂只要不是在同一陣線，其他人永遠都是錯的．．．．．

前幾天媒體出現了一個跟選舉完全沒有關係，完全是為反而反的反同志的廣告，來自向來對非我族類充滿歧視的凱特的澳洲黨．．．．
廣告一出，內容不但垃圾、充滿仇恨和歧視，連角逐競選的兩個政黨黨魁都看不下去
都這個時代了媒體還會出現這樣的垃圾內容？
台灣這一點完全輸了！！
有趣的是，
兩天後，他的同父異母，身為同志的兄弟卡爾（Carl Katter），直接在媒體上反駁他兄長幼稚的文宣．．．．（以下是2012-03-12 來自網路的相關新聞）
昆州政客凱特（Bob Katter）創立的“凱特的澳洲黨（Katter's Australia Party，KAP）”近日在電視上大打反同性結婚的廣告。
但凱特住在墨爾本的同父異母弟弟卡爾（Carl Katter）偏巧就是一名“同志”，他在網路上炮轟兄長“瘋凱特”並對其新黨參加昆州選舉一事冷嘲熱諷。

事情起於同樣角逐昆州選舉的自由國家黨黨魁紐曼（Campbell Newman）公開表示支持同性結婚，雖然紐曼並不支持聯邦為此修法，但出於“撬選票”的策略，凱特的KAP自然要讓電視廣告的矛頭正對紐曼。

廣告視頻中使用了兩名赤膊男子打馬賽克的曖昧畫面，還展現了紐曼正拿著一條裙子的畫面。這讓自詡為“進步人士；人權/婚姻平權鬥士”的卡爾登時火冒三丈，他在推特上發表了視頻連接，並註明“這是來自凱特的澳洲黨的反同廣告”。
卡爾挖苦道：“相信我，瘋凱特定義為'很澳洲'的東西，你一定不敢苟同。”“他和那些偏執的烏合之眾真的讓我很煩，我為那些觀看了這種仇恨廣告的人感到擔心。”“他們正在利用恐懼與仇恨政策贏取選票。竟然使出這種骯髒戰術，他們肯定是走投無路了！”
卡爾還發表了一則聲明，抨擊該廣告“不尊重人”。 “這則廣告無視昆州人民對婚姻平權的高度支持，而且完全不尊重許多昆州同志在日常生活中為昆州所作的出色貢獻。”
昆州工黨籍州長佈萊（Anna Bligh）也批評這則廣告“怪異”，而且“遠遠超出了我們期望在一場政治選舉中看到的東西”。
但凱特本人卻完全不以批評為意，還對媒體表示他迄今都沒有接到任何辱罵他的電話。之後，他又對第十台表示，他尊重同父異母弟弟的個人立場。 “我欣賞他的坦率，他的直白，我已經好多年沒怎麼和他聯繫了，但我欣賞他的那些特質。”
凱特還表示，儘管卡爾可能會被其黨派的立場所傷害，但允許同性結婚的可能性卻會傷害到“許許多多其他的人”。

A VOTE for Bob Katter’s Australian Party at the upcoming Queensland election is a "vote for hate", according to the maverick federal MP’s half brother.
Carl Katter and lobby group Get Up today launched a 45 second television commercial in response to the KAP’s recent and controversial anti-gay-marriage advertisement.
In it, the openly gay Carl Katter - a campaigner for same sex marriage equality - says the state’s voters deserved better.
“Our nation’s leaders should not be telling the community it’s ok to discriminate,” Mr Katter says in the advertisement.
The Australian understands the advertisement was written and filmed on Monday afternoon, a day after the KAP advertisement first aired. It was edited yesterday and Get Up is poised to email the clip to a chunk of its nearly 600,000 members, urging them to donate to have the advertisement aired as many times as possible before the March 24 poll.
It is already scheduled to air during Sunrise and the Nine Network’s nightly news’ commercial breaks this week.
Carl Katter told The Australian today that he had been overwhelmed with support on social networking sites such as Twitter.
“We’re encouraging people to share (the new ad) virally,” he said.
“Someone had to do something…to counter the negative effects of the (original ad).”
The KAP advertisement sparked outrage from some of its own candidates, donor and casino mogul James Packer, as well as Liberal National Party leader Campbell Newman and Greens leader Bob Brown, who were targeted for supporting gay marriage.
The Advertising Standards Bureau received more than 200 complaints about the advertisement, many of which said it was offensive to same sex relationships, but cannot act because it is political advertising.
The advertisement showed images of a gay couple and asked whether voters could trust Mr Newman to represent family values, while showing the politician folding a skirt and being taunted by the disembodied head of Senator Brown.
Bob Katter and the party’s state leader Aidan McLindon have both staunchly defended the ad and have insisted it is not controversial.
